How To Work Out Transferable Network

Leonhard Euler

Leonhard Euler was a Swiss mathematician and physicist. He spent most of his life in Russia and Germany. Euler made important discoveries in fields like calculus and topology. He also made many of the words used in math today.

Konigsberg Bridge Problem

The Seven Bridges of Königsberg is a historically notable problem in mathematics. Its negative resolution by Leonhard Euler in 1736 laid the foundations of graph theory and prefigured the idea of topology

The problem was to devise a walk through the city that would cross each of those bridges once and only once.

What are his statements to determine if a network is transferable?

If there are no odd nodes and all nodes are even this means that the network can be drawn without taking your pen off the paper, starting and finishing at the same place.

If there are two odd nodes it means the network is transferable but you must start at one of the odd nodes and finish on the other odd nodes.

If there are more than two odd nodes the network will not be transferable which means it would be impossible to not take your pen off the paper.

What are nodes in a network?

The definition of a node depends on the network and protocol layer referred to. A physical network node is an electronic device that is attached to a network and is capable of creating, receiving, or transmitting information over a communications channel.

Evidence For Hand Tool (unfinish)

Demonstrate and apply knowledge of the selection, use, and care of engineering hand tools.

Evidence to Support   US 2395 v9  Level 2  worth 4 Credits

Marino Ward

NSI Number

This is an entry-level unit standard for people to demonstrate a basic understanding of selecting, using and caring for the correct type of engineering hand tools.

People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of the selection of different types of hand tools; select and use engineering hand tools to meet task requirements; and care for engineering hand tools.

Engineering hand tools applicable to this unit standard fall within the following categories:

Cutting tools: examples – hacksaws, chisels, files, hole punches, tin snips.

Assembly tools: examples – hammers, punches, vices, clamps, spanners, wrenches (including impact and torque), pliers.

My evidence to support my assessment booklet

Cutting tools.

Hack saw

Write a short description / explanation of the task you used the hack saw for - be specific

Metal file

I am using the file to deburr my 20x20

Tin snips Write a short description / explanation of the task you used the tool  for - be specific

Assembly tools

What is a Quadrilateral: A quadrilateral is a four-sided two-dimensional shape.

What is an Equilateral: An equilateral is having all sides the same length.

What is a Parallelogram: A Parallelogram is a four-sided plane rectilinear figure with opposite sides parallel.

square is a quadrilateral with all four angles right angles and all four sides of the same length. So a square is a special kind of rectangle, it is one where all the sides have the same length

Is a square a rhombus becaus it has 4 equal sides? is a square a ...

rectangle is a quadrilateral with all four angles right angles. This proves that the opposite sides are parallel and of the same lengths and that is why every square is a rectangle because it is a quadrilateral with all four angles right angles.

Properties of Rectangles | Brilliant Math & Science Wiki

Rhombus is a flat shape with 4 equal straight sides. Opposite sides are parallel, and the opposite angles are equal. And the diagonals "p" and "q" of a rhombus bisect each other at right angles. with the info I have, I can tell that a rhombus shape is a Parallelogram.

trapezoid is a quadrilateral with at least one pair of parallel sides. No other features matter.

AJ and Marino's Gran Torino Questions

Where does Gran Torino take place? When? The Gran Torino takes place in Detroit in the late 1990s or 2000s

What is significant about this setting? This is a time when most Americans left Detroit and a lot more mong refugees came to America and stayed in Detroit.

What do you think is Walt’s motivation for mentoring Tao?  Walt sees Tao as a good person and doesn't want him going on the wrong path like Tao's cousin.

How does Walt feel about Sue compared to her brother Tao, in the beginning? Why do you think he feels this way? Walt feels more goodwill to sue because sue speaks her mind and Tao doesn't and also he doesn't like him cause he tried to steal his car which made his opinion worst on Tao

How does Walt feel about his own family? How is this different from the way his neighbors treat the idea of family? Walt feels disgusted about his family because he is not being treated right and the son doesn't want to check on his but he has to. His neighbors treat him as an elder and respect him because it is there culture way.

What are some customs which Walt’s neighbors have which surprise him? The mongs believed that the souls are attached to the head thus why they don't pat others on the head. This is why Walt was surprised and called it bs.

Have you ever experienced “culture shock” or been surprised by a cultural practice that is different from your own? What surprised you and why? no, because every religion has there own way of doing it and it doesn't surprise me of how they do it.

What is the purpose of the priest's character? How would the film be different if this character was not included in the story? the purpose of the priest's character is to see how Walt sees the world and his views on ideology. The priest's character is there to support him throughout the film. It would be different because we wouldn't know why he acts the way he acts and talks the way he talks.

How was Walt affected by his experiences at war? he was a bit angry because he probably had PTSD and it affected him in a huge way because he had to kill innocent people or something like that.

What do you think is the director’s view of gang culture? How do you know? he views them as immature and ignorant, people. The reason we know this is due to the cousin and his friend's action and what they do.

Why do you think the film is called Gran Torino? What is the significance of the title?  it is Walt's car. The significance of the title is when Tao tries to still the Grand Torino which leads to a chain of events which is the movie

What is the role of religion in this film? The role was to help the Main Character progress throughout the movie.

Character Strength

Self-regulation

How does self-regulation play a role in your greatest successes in life? It makes me control all emotions to which I can’t use them anymore.

What areas of your life are best regulated? Getting proper sleep keeping my emotions calm and having fun.
How does self-regulation affect your tolerance for situations that are vague or unpredictable? It stops me from doing something dangerous and warns me if something is going to happen.

Prudence

What are the personal benefits you experience in being prudent? It helps me to pick whats subjects I need to get a good job.
How has prudence served you well over the years, in big and small ways? Getting things I don’t ask for that is good.
What regrets do you have about times you held yourself back from taking a risk? I have no regrets.

Gratitude

What circumstances make it most likely you will experience gratitude? What circumstances make it most likely you will express gratitude? When there’s nothing bad going on and everyone is minding their own business.
Are there people to whom you have not adequately expressed gratitude, as an oversight or intentionally holding it back (e.g., family, friends, co-workers, mentors, community members)? If so, why? Yes, I have done it to my family cause they help me if I need help.

To what degree do you express gratitude to others out of a deep feeling of appreciation as opposed to a social convention? making sure I say thank you and to help them if in need.

my 2020 Goals

my goal is to finish my NCEA lv1 ( just need 3 more credits to finish) so I can get a move on to NCEA lv2.
when I finish school I want to find a good job that I like and that will pay a decent amount of money.

my dream job is to not have a job at all. This is because we spend most of our lives working (this also includes schools as well). I also don't want a job because I love to spend time with, my family.

Art Blog #4

In the middle and end of Term 3, I have drawn a bunch of scary anime characters and 2 comic strip pages. I didn't do much because I was focusing on my other subjects such as Math, Science, and English. I think I made about four or five drawings. one paper has drawings on both sides because I thought that it had a new paper on top of it. To me, I think I have NOT done enough work for art because I have either been practicing how to do the proportion of an anime character and a proportion of a human body or secretly doing other work. I can't do much now because this project that we are doing ends on Friday and I do not have a  board to stick my artwork on. All I have to do now is do more drawings and make sure I'm working on it.
